Join a tour and learn more about art and the exhibitions. Every Thursday, the Museum offers public guided tours in English, included in the admission fee. You don’t have to register in advance. See calendar events.

Introduction to the Museum

15-minute introduction to the Museum, in Swedish. Every Tuesday to Friday 13.00.

Guided tour for families

Explore and discover the Museum's exhibitions together with our art educators. The 30-minute tour is held in Swedish and takes place every other Sunday 12.30. Recommended from age 5. Read more about Family Programs.

Book a guided tour

Book a private tour with one of our guides. A tour takes around 45 – 60 minutes and you choose which parts of the museum that are of most interest to your group. Would you like to be guided through the ongoing temporary exhibition or the permanent exhibitions – or both? Tours are held in Swedish, English, German or Danish.

Maximum 30 participants per group. Larger groups can be accommodated in parallel tours.

Prices for private tours

Monday to Friday, from 09:00 to 17:00: SEK 950
Weekends, during opening hours: SEK 1600
Guided tours outside opening hours by appointment only: SEK 2500
Admission fee SEK 60/person applies

Tour fee for schools during daytime

Primary and secondary schools: SEK 650
Universities, university colleges and community colleges: SEK 750
Creative workshop: SEK 950
